A@W: skai® Materials with staynu® Technology Take Center Stage

Planners and architects from all over Germany will have the opportunity to exchange ideas at Architect@Work in Munich on April 15 and 16, 2026. Continental will also be here with its skai® brand and will focus on materials featuring staynu® technology.

The theme of this year’s edition of “Architect@Work” in Munich is “transformation.” Surface specialist Continental has therefore decided to present at stand 162 three solutions for hospitality, healthcare and public areas that focus in on this topic: skai® Parotega NF, skai® Tovega EN and skai® Toronto EN. These three products not only share their areas of application, however, but also a rather special add-on: the innovative staynu® technology

Behind this is a special surface finish that makes materials particularly resistant to soiling and abrasion, while also being particularly easy to clean. Stains from sources such as wine, coffee, ballpoint pen ink or permanent marker don’t stand a chance against this smart technology. They can all be easily removed – even with alcohol-based cleaners – and the surface can be easily disinfected using any mainstream disinfectants.

Visitors to the Continental stand can see the durability of the skai® upholstery fabrics for themselves, as the surface expert will invite them to get creative with the material in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the staynu® technology

The three skai® artificial leather products are not only in the spotlight because of their functional benefits, but also thanks to their stylish look combined with a comfortable feel. What is more, the entire trio is available in a vast range of trendy colors, ensuring an almost endless array of design possibilities for architects and planners. While skai® Tovega EN creates modern accents with a fine microporous structure, skai® Toronto EN and skai® Parotega NF have a more classic look with a leather grain.
