The joint project has now been honored with the renowned iF Design Award.

Continental and nobilia asked themselves the same question – and decided to pool their expertise in vehicle interior design, material development and modern kitchen architecture. The result: Evolution of Senses – a kitchen far more than just functional that actually redefines the user living space.
Guided by its leitmotif “Feel. Connect. Inspire.", Evolution of Senses merges people, space and technology to create a holistic experience that appeals to all your senses and makes everyday kitchen life more comfortable, personal and emotional.
This kitchen conceptual design represents a new way of living: intuitive, emotional and technologically sophisticated. Warm materials, organic shapes and a calm, harmonious design create an atmosphere in which everyday life and enjoyment holistically coalesce into one. The kitchen as the center of the home thus becomes a place where people no longer just cook, but also communicate and, above all, live together.

This visionary kitchen concept combines muted colors, organic shapes and calm architecture with intelligent, discreetly integrated technologies from the automotive world. Functions such as sensory surfaces, concealed displays and smart operating concepts only appear when they are needed – intuitively, discreetly and user-centered.
This visionary idea has also garnered international acclaim: our kitchen concept “Evolution of Senses – Feel. Connect. Inspire.” recently won the iF Design Award 2026, besting the more than 10,000 other submissions from around the world. The jury was particularly impressed by the holistic approach with which design, innovative materials and integrated technology merge in a coherent, future-oriented overall experience.
