FRAME THE FUTURE – Continental at SICAM 2026
From October 20 to 23, 2026, the renowned SICAM will open its doors once again in Pordenone, Italy. At the trade show for components and accessories for the furniture industry, around 700 exhibitors will set the course for the future direction of international furniture design. And Continental will also be there, presenting skai® under the slogan “Frame the future”: with new decors, innovative surfaces and an exclusive insight into exciting design trends.
New plain and decorative foils for modern recessed-panel cabinet door fronts
This year’s trade fair slogan of “Frame the future” is fitting for two reasons. First, our skai® furniture foils make it easy to create on-trend recessed-panel and louvered cabinet door fronts. Second, our surfaces provide the perfect backdrop for creative furniture design that appeals to all the senses. At SICAM, we’ll showcase our new textured surfaces: skai® colore structure SENSO in the colors ocher and grayish, and as a highlight in the decor range, skai® structure Wright Walnut brown. Our new travertine designs – skai® Otranto beige and skai® Otranto grey – offer striking contrasts to the wood-look finishes. What’s more, the ultra-matte plain surface skai® colore classico ULTRA will be presented for the first time with new shades in a coordinated color palette.

Our skai® furniture foils impress with surfaces that are truly groundbreaking with respect to their look, feel and function. Such as the skai® colore structure GEO, which draws inspiration from geometric shapes and matte-gloss effects. With their natural pore variations, the wood-effect finishes from skai® colore structure SENSO add elegant highlights. And finally, our skai® colore classico ULTRA textured plain surface impresses with its robust technical properties as well as its matt, fine-sand structured feel.
