Review: Continental at Interzum @home 2021
Under the trade fair slogan “Join the Future,” Continental showcased numerous product updates for surface styling in the Interior area at interzum 2021 from May 4 to 7, which took place for the first time as a digital trade fair platform with 142 exhibitors from 24 countries.
We at Continental have had good experience with this year’s virtual trade fair format -- and are delighted that two of our innovations and product premieres have been presented with the interzum Intelligent Material & Design 2021 award:
- skai® VyP Lana, which thanks to laif technology is one of the innovations of the latest generation of breathable upholstery materials and celebrated its premiere at interzum 2021 with six new trendy pastel colors and already has the red dot 2021 and the German Innovation Award.
- skai® PureLux, the PET-based design laminate and sustainable matte surface for high-quality design of kitchen, bathroom and home furniture.
Five further premieres in the field of furniture surfaces at interzum @home 2021 proved that we are more than living up to our high standards in design, functionality and innovation. With our trade fair focus “Trends in Change – Design and Function in Harmony,” our new furniture foil products skai® Flagstaff Oak, skai® Justus Oak and skai® Viking Oak impressed the audience in the natural wood optics segment, as well as skai® Salazar and skai® Colore Ultra Solid surfaces as plain surfaces with enormous mix-and-match potential in furniture design for kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms.
