SICAM 2025: Time to Go 3D!
“Every shape tells a story. skai® – the 3D experience.” This year’s trade fair tagline for SICAM 2025 makes it unmistakably clear what visitors can look forward to at the Continental booth (Hall 4, Booth B13) from October 14 to 17, 2025: an exciting all-round experience of the skai® brand with a clear focus on 3D – in solid-color and printed vinyl as well as PET furniture foils.
Whether circles, stripes or wavy lines – every shape tells a story. And it is precisely these that are inspiring Continental’s appearance at this year’s SICAM trade fair in Pordenone, Italy. In fact, the skai® brand is offering an expressive three-dimensional experience. And not just in terms of product variety and premium design, but in the literal sense of the word. Whether in the latest trend colors or decors, skai® provides almost endless possibilities for designing fronts in 3D, making surfaces tangible in a new, unexpected and unconventional way. And for even more choice, Continental will also be presenting vinyl and PET-based versions at the trade fair.
Product diversity thanks to vinyl and PET
The skai structure Tropea oak and skai structure Riva vinyl variants printed with wood decors promise the perfect combination of fine texture, mattness and timeless elegance. An even more sustainable option are the 3D-formable, printed PET-based furniture foils, such as skai PureLux 3D PET, which is recyclable.
skai PureLux 3D structure in the “Casella oak” and “Catania oak” versions help create a special atmosphere. Matt and textured, they impress with their understated elegance. Their perfect complement is skai Perfect Solo, a solid-color vinyl film with a deep matt surface, which is extremely robust thanks to innovative staynu® technology and prevents annoying fingerprints.
A further counterpart can be found in the PET furniture foil segment with skai PureLux 3D Touch. This design laminate impresses with its elegant look and smooth, soft-matt feel. The special feature of this surface is that it is available both as a virgin PET version and as an even more sustainable rPET version. The latter has a recycled content of at least 75% in the PET polymer.
Translucency and more – skai® takes a look into the future
Continental’s trade fair appearance will be rounded off by exciting topics from the areas of design and research and development. With with the preVIEW Collection, it will take a look into the future of innovative, sustainable and trendy surface materials and functions that are set to have a significant influence on interior design.
