Successful Trade Show Presence: skai® Materials with staynu® Technology Presented at Architect@Work in Munich
At Architect@Work Munich 2026, the focus was on skai® upholstery fabrics with innovative staynu® technology – impressing trade visitors with their design, function and suitability for everyday use.
The theme of this year’s Architect@Work Munich was “Transformation” – a fitting concept for our presentation of skai®, which focused on innovative materials for sophisticated interiors.
At booth 162, skai® presented three tried-and-tested upholstery fabrics for hospitality, healthcare and public areas: skai® Parotega NF, skai® Tovega EN and skai® Toronto EN. All three materials incorporate the high-quality staynu® technology, which makes surfaces particularly dirt- and abrasion-resistant and at the same time easy to clean: Designed for Life.
One particular highlight for many visitors was the practical material testing directly at the exhibition booth. Trade visitors were able to see for themselves how soiling from ballpoint pens or permanent markers can be effortlessly removed from surfaces – a clear demonstration of the efficiency of staynu® technology in everyday planning and facility and object maintenance.
In addition to functional benefits, visitors were also impressed by the materials’ aesthetic properties: from fine-pored, modern structures and classic leather grains to broad ranges of trendy colors. skai® materials thus offer versatile design options for spaces heavily frequented and used.
Our in-depth discussions with architects, interior designers and planners once again confirmed the growing importance of durable, hygienic and design-oriented surface solutions.
