The German Design Award is the international premium award of the Rat für Formgebung. Its goal: discovering, presenting, and recognizing unique design trends. For this reason, high-quality submissions from the area of product and communication design are rewarded each year, all of which are groundbreaking in the realm of international design in their own way. The German Design Award, which was introduced in 2012, is one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world and is esteemed well beyond industry circles.
