To the party tent!
Every year more than four million visitors from all over the world make the pilgrimage to Stuttgart to celebrate at the "Cannstatter Wasen". From the end of September to the beginning of October, it's the largest fairground festival in Europe, according to the organizers. Even stars like American rocker Bon Jovi have appeared here. Eight large tents tempt visitors with beer and specialties – and it's not that easy to get a spot.
The Göckelesmaier tent, famous for its chicken dishes, offers 4,100 seats. If you don't want to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle here, you can start off with a seat in one of the many boxes. One of them is the box in the Pilsbar beer garden. It offers 152 cozy spots in front that were redesigned in 2018, right at the source with a large overview of the entire middle of the tent. Comfortable tables for eight and two long banquet tables offer outstanding venues for celebration and feasting. Interior designer Cyrus Ghanai chose skai® Ristikko EN velvet red, our high-quality upholstery material with a coarse woven structure, for the chairs and benches. The embossing depth and the harmonizing print give the material the appearance of a genuine leather weave.
