Review: Continental Showcases New Products at the ARCHITECT@WORK in Barcelona and Gets a Great Response

An international industry audience made up of architects, planners and designers responded with interest and enthusiasm to Continental’s innovations in surface design across the well-attended ARCHITECT@WORK trade show in Barcelona.

Continental showed four exciting new products at the ARCHITECT@WORK trade show. New products that meet both the aesthetic and functional demands of surface design wowed keen industry audiences in Barcelona.

The fact that not only Continental surface specialists, but also exigent visitors were impressed by the trade show’s lively format is down to the personal approach and clear focus of the ARCHITECT@WORK trade show appearances, which presented new products, provided sound product information and brought products to life on the spot – making them a talking point with highly specialist expertise from both the company and the professional visitors.

Four great new products in forward-looking surface design made their debut on March 13 and 14, 2019 in Barcelona. First up was the innovative, breathable upholstery material _laif_ VyP Nappa, which is setting new benchmarks in comfort for seats that people tend to sit on for extended periods. Then came the new skai® Topana FLS and skai® Torino FLS upholstery fabrics designed for the hospitality sector. And last but not least was the innovative skai® Design Lab configurator which  is setting new benchmarks for customized design and digital printing. The skai® Design Lab configurator gave trade show visitors the chance to be designers themselves – and they were impressed by the possibilities offered by custom digitally printed surface design.

These four new products were the subject of extensive expert discussions and consultations, and resulted in a number of new customer contacts at the well-attended trade show stand.
