Review: Textile dinner in three courses with inspiring lectures

A very successful evening full of new impressions and inspirations came to an end on March 21, 2019, the eve of Munich's Spring of Fabrics. This evening, just as in the year before, Continental AG invited guests to a textile dinner at the AIT Architecture Salon in Munich.

Some 40 interior architects and designers from Munich and the rest of southern Germany came together to listen to renowned speakers Werner Aisslinger and Michele Rondelli over a delicious 3-course menu.

At the beginning of the event, Bruno Lehmann, Vice President Interior of Continental AG, briefly presented the company, its product portfolio, and reference projects in which skai® brand synthetic upholstery fabrics have been used. He rounded off his talk with a live presentation of the skai® Design Lab, which allows interior designers to create custom designs for new projects.

Werner Aisslinger from Berlin then spoke about Interior & Product Design and presented hotel projects like the 25hours Bikini Hotel and its breathtaking Monkey Bar above the rooftops of Berlin.

After the main course, Swiss architect and consultant Michele Rondelli explained his many years of expertise in the field of materials and textiles to the attendees on the basis of various textile projects. His lecture was accompanied by fascinating display of shifting colors, greatly impressing the guests.
