A cup of good coffee makes many things easier - even relaxed and sustainable sitting on the couch at home, in a café or restaurant! The revolutionary upholstery fabric skai® VyP Coffee with laif® technology is elegant, breathable and inspires with particularly environmentally friendly inner values:
skai® VyP Coffee supports a sustainable circular economy
In skai® VyP Coffee with laif® technology, coffee grounds are used for the first time as a raw material for a breathable upholstery fabric. With a solid content equivalent to about three cups of coffee per square meter of skai® VyP Coffee, this raw material is taken out of the annual waste stream. Recycled cotton-polyester fibers also serve as the textile carrier material for skai® VyP Coffee.
skai® VyP Coffee reduces the ecological footprint
- The natural raw material coffee grounds replaces conventional chemical raw materials (in total, skai® VyP Coffee contains 65% natural, bio-based and/or recycled ingredients).
- Vegan: No raw materials of animal origin are used for the material.
- The electricity used at the site comes 100% from CO2-neutral generation.
